Working on Halloween

What’s up Trick or Treaters in the place to be!?

I have no candy for you, only these bittersweet words that I pen with my meaty hands.

In all seriousness though I picked up an extra shift on Halloween night.

I didn’t have any plans so it’s not all that bad and the party my other friends went to looked like it ended up being a sausage fest so brownie points for not having to deal with that.

My weight loss finally seems to be moving along. I’m down about 3-4is pounds in 3 weeks.

Basically, I’m only eating sushi. Sushi and edamame peas. It has enough protein to keep me full and all I have to worry about after that is getting enough fiber so I don’t spend hours agonizing on the toilet for a thumb sized poo.

I think I have the fiber part covered however, so what I’m really saying is that I need more money, but tell me something I don’t know, y’know?

Projects are coming along as well, it’s taken a bit longer than I’d hope but I figure once I’m done with all my schooling I can really jump into things, but I see more and more that you have to “do things now” or “look like a beginner” and I already have one comic book under my belt as far as beginner work goes, this project I’m working on now I hope will at least make me look like an intermediate. Maybe?

So anyway, things are on the rise, it’s just taking it’s time to incubate.

I remember that one girl from high school telling me “you were always slow” and now as I approach my 40’s and realizing many celebrities didn’t make their standout work until these years I kind of feel the opposite, that I’m right on time.

Later gators!
